It's time to Trim the Tree for Challenge #28!

It's time to Trim the Tree again here at Christmas Kickstart.

I'd like to say a very big thank you to Samantha for all her elfin assistance with this challenge.

We were both blown away by the quantity (we reached an amazing eighty cards) and the quality of the entries on the theme of RED! Thanks to all of you who entered - it's great to see regular players returning and to also make brand new Kickstart friends!

Here are our Top Picks:

Michele

Love this Santa speeding across the ice.

Kath

We both loved the 'pop' of red against the hammered white cardstock.

Carol

Perfect positioning of all the elements of Carol's card.

Theresa

Beautiful snowflakes, looking fabulous against the red.

Our Winner is:

Sally

We both loved that Sally made a shaker card

using this adorable gnome die and a gorgeous frame.

Congratulations to you all, please grab your blog badges and show-off shamelessly!

That cool dude Rudolph is here to award his Rudolph's Random Raffle prize:

Our lucky winner is

Congratulations to you, Brenda! The dies are gorgeous and I hope you'll enjoy using them. Please contact me with your snail mail address at dottypudding at aol.com.

Thanks again to everyone who played along in this challenge. Our new elves are in dah house for a fun, new challenge and they're getting a little rowdy - anyone would think that there was alcohol involved!

The Christmas Kickstart Challenge #29 - Christmas Cheer AKA Alcohol

Hi there, and a very happy March to you all! Before we get started with the new challenge, I'd like to thank everyone who played along last month. You guys were so creative with the myriad different ways you chose to use red in your cards! It'll be a tricky process choosing the top picks and a winner again I can tell you.

I am delighted to welcome back my dear friends The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers! As always we have our fabulous mascot, Edna, on board. The Sisterhood are a great bunch and I am so lucky to have these wonderfully caring, snarky ladies in my life. Thanks for being my elves, sistahs!

Our theme for this month is one that we hold dear over at the Sisterhood, yes, it's...

Christmas Cheer AKA Alcohol!

For this challenge we'd like to see some boozy, Christmas fun on your cards! Your card can feature your favourite Christmas tipple, the after-effects of a few too many sherries, a traditional cup of mulled wine, a cheeky cup of eggnog: the choice is yours!

Here's some inspiration from the sisters to get you in the mood, and as you can see the sistahs are sharing their drinking names with you!

Sister Jane AKA Molten Duchess

Sister Lindsey AKA Clouded Wine Zombie

Sister Chris AKA Cherry Blossom Horror

Sister Barb AKA Sugar Walk

Sister Donna AKA Spiced Zinger

Sister Michelle AKA Martini Hurricane

Sister Jo AKA Gin Smooch

As always Rudolph is here with a Random Raffle prize and he has chosen a gorgeous and very appropriate set from Clearly Besotted, as used by Sister Jane in her card for this challenge.

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #28 - RED!

Hey there, welcome to Christmas Kickstart; it's time for a new challenge!

A big thank you to everyone who played along in the first challenge of 2020. Gail and I were blown-away by how many of you paraded your penguins! We'll be back in a few days to trim the tree.

This month I'm delighted to be joined by the wonderfully talented, and very witty, Samantha from CoyKoi Crafting.

"A busy mother of three, (one human, two feline) Samantha enjoys hiding out in the bathroom eating her secret stashes of candy while watching Netflix on her phone. When she's not busy feeding her brood, breaking up squabbles, or actively avoiding housework you can find her making cards; her beloved label maker at her side."

Our theme for this month of love and romance is RED!

Yes, we'd love to see the colour of all things romantic featured on your
Christmas cards for the whole of February.

Here's Samantha's card - how gorgeous is this! Love all the gold against the red tones. You'll find all the details of how Samantha made her card on her blog.

Here's my very CAS take on the theme:

As always, Rudolph is on hand with a Random Raffle Prize and this month he is offering two gorgeous dies from Sue Wilson.

Hope you'll come and play!
