Christmas Kickstart Challenge #58 - Reminder

Welcome back, I hope that 2022 is treating you well!

It's hard to believe that January is already half-way done, but it's true and so it's time for our mid-month reminder post for Challenge #58. Our theme is Rainbow Christmas and our elfin muse is the lovely Cornelia from Stempel Spass.

Cornelia very kindly created a second card for our challenge:

I think you'll agree she's 'nailed' the challenge, and you can find all the details of how she created her card on her blog here.

I'm not really sure my card is quite as 'rainbow-y' as I wanted, but I hope you like it. You can find all the details over on my blog.

You have until 31st January to 'wow' us with your creations, so why not take the plunge and start making your Christmas 2022 cards with us right now.

Both Cornelia and I hope you'll come and join the fun, and so does Rudolph as he has a lovely embossing folder to give away in his Random Raffle for this month!

Let's Trim the Tree for Challenge #57

With January racing away I thought I better get this post written right now or else we'll be in February!

A very big thank you to everyone who played along in If It's Christmassy, Link It Up! An amazing total of 150 of you played along (I do love a nice round number, don't you?) and make this one heaps of fun!

I had a little help from Rudolph with choosing Top Picks and a Winner for this month as the standard of entries was amazing!

Our Top Picks are as follows:

The colour palette and the design of this card are simply adorable.

Hat's off to Izzy for some amazing masking to create this sweet scene.

Just look at all that sparkle! Arlene's houses are simply adorable.

A fabulous colour combo and an amazing background.

Fabulous stamping and that sentiment style and placement is perfection!

Topping our Tree for this challenge is:

Isn't this just joyful?

Congratulations to our Top Picks and Winner.
Please grab your badge to flaunt on your blog!

The lovely Rudolph chose a great prize for this challenge:

Winner of this Random Raffle is...

#2 - Barb!

Congratulations, Barb, please can you get in touch to claim your prize.

Once again, many thanks to all of you who took part in this challenge. We already have a new elf and a new theme on offer so please come take a look and play along... Those Christmas cards won't make themselves you know!

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #58 - Rainbow Christmas

Happy New Year to you all!

I hope you all had a very happy Christmas and that you're back at your crafting tables and ready to go with another year of festive cardmaking.

I'm delighted to be joined by a very talented new elf to Kickstart 2022 - please welcome Cornelia from Stempel Spass! I'm a huge fan of Cornelia's cards and was delighted when she agreed to be our elfin muse for this month.

"My name is Cornelia – otherwise known as 'fun stamping', which translates into Stempel Spass – the name of my blog. I am originally from Germany, hence my blog name. For the last 25 years I have been living in New Jersey with my husband. We are empty nesters – both of our children flew out into the world, with one in England and the other one in college. I am working full time and like to spend my evenings creating cards. I have been totally hooked for many years. I mainly do CAS cards, but occasionally I like to experiment with other styles. Besides card making I enjoy photography, baking, cooking, hiking, biking, reading, classical and all sorts of ethnic music. In addition, I love to travel, although that had been impaired lately! I wish my days would be longer!"

Our theme for January is a fun one and I hope this gets your creative motors up and running! We're playing:

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #58 - Rainbow Christmas

We'd love to see the colours of the Rainbow on your cards! And here's the card Cornelia made to inspire us...

Don't you just love those trees?? That rainbow effect works perfectly as it moves from blue to violet, and that single star is a genius addition as it pulls the design together and leads the eye around the card. You can find out all the details of how Cornelia made her card by heading over to her blog.

Here's what I made. I had so much fun arranging my dancing Santa troupe! As always, you can find all the info. about my card on my blog.

Finally, let's say 'Hi' to Rudolph - he tells me he had a fab Christmas and is delighted to be here again with a lovely, festive embossing folder to kick-off another year of his Random Raffles!

Please, don't forget to read the Challenge Guidelines before linking your card. Rudolph get's so disappointed if he picks a Random Raffle winner and then can't award the prize because that person has entered too many other challenges alongside this one!
