Christmas Kickstart Challenge #84 Reminder - Get your Grinch On!

Before we get started, can I just say how I'm blown away by all the gorgeous green in our gallery for this challenge! You guys are rocking this challenge and no mistake.

Yes, we've reached the 15th of the month and so it's time for a little memory jogging for our current challenge as we play...

Challenge #84 - Get Your Grinch On!

We're in super-talented company with elf, Meghan, from Made By Meghan K

Here's a reminder of the card Meghan created for our challenge:

Isn't her colouring amazing! Her cards always have me swooning.

For my 'Inspired by... ' creation I borrowed the sketch from Meghan's beautiful card plus her use of patterned paper, and this is what I came up with.

You can see the details of how I created this card, and another card for this theme, over on my blog by clicking here.

Finally, don't forget that Rudolph has a gorgeous stamp prize for his Random Raffle, so please come and join Meghan and me and Get Your Grinch On!

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #84 - Get Your Grinch On!

 So, March it is then!

It's the first Tuesday of a new month and so we have a brand new elf. Please, welcome the very talented Meghan from Made by Meghan K

"I'm Meghan Kennighan. I love BRIGHT colors, patterned papers, cute die cuts and stenciling. My style is definitely whimsical and playful. When I am not crafting, I am a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Counselor.  As you can tell from my profile picture, I am a fun-loving dog mom to a maltipoo, Maddie, as well as an Identical twin, and an Aunt to two nephews and two nieces. Head to my blog MadeByMeghanK and answer my  "Make Crafty Friends" Q & As on each of my blog posts so we can be crafting besties!"

Meghan and I are taking our cue from the approach of Spring and St. Patrick's Day on March 17th, but as always it's got a Christmas twist...

Challenge #84 - Get Your Grinch On!

We'd to see the colour GREEN taking centre stage on your Christmas cards for this month.

Here's what Meghan created...

Isn't this a beauty! If you'd like to see the details of how Meghan created her stunning card, please head here. You'll love her blog.

I had so much fun making my card, and decided to employ a technique I always enjoy: paper - piecing!

Rudolph has a lovely prize for one lucky, Random Raffle Winner. Please, take a look at the guidelines before you sign up, and also don't forget to check back to see if you are a winner. We've had a few unclaimed prizes recently.

Meghan and I can't wait to see what you create!

Let's Trim the Tree for Challenge #83

Yes, it's Tree Trimming Time again here at Christmas Kickstart!

A big thank you to everyone who played along as we went Out on a Limb with the lovely Gail. Thanks, Gail, you're a star!

We had a 38 fabulous entries for this challenge and I have to say I think that's pretty amazing for February, which, for all us cardmakers, is usually the month of hearts and all things pink.

Our Top Picks for this challenge are:

#24 - Bonnie

The colour palette Bonnie used is awesome, her stamping is stunning
and that 'pop' of deep, sparkly red makes this card extra special and strikingly elegant.

Someone's in trouble when mama gets home! Love this fun card.

#31 - Vicky

Don't you just love how the fir cones and the red 'pop' against the blue!

Our Winner and Star on the Tree for this week is:

Isn't this just magical?
I love that Cornelia added little Santa hats to the kitties for a fun, festive twist.

Congratulations to you all, I hope you'll enjoy flaunting your blog badges for all the world to see!

A big thank you to everyone who played along!

And finally, here he is with his Random Raffle Winner... Please say 'Hi' to Rudolph!

Congratulations
