It's Mid-Month Reminder Time for Challenge #28

Hi there, just a quick reminder that you still have time to play along with Samantha and myself here at Christmas Kickstart!

Our theme for this chilly month is designed to be a real Winter warmer as it's the colour RED! Yes, we'd like to see a Christmas card featuring something red.

I couldn't resist creating another card for this challenge and broke out a sweet Simon Says Stamp set called Meowy Christmas for a little festive, feline fun!

As always here at Christmas Kickstart, Rudolph has a Random Raffle in action and this month he is offering two lovely Sue Wilson dies to one randomly drawn winner.

You can join the fun and link your card at the original post, or by signing-up below. You have until Monday, 2nd March to enter your card, or cards and play along.

Challenge Rules and Guidelines:
  • Like and/or follow this blog either via Blogger or Bloglovin, or Email.
  • Add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery or blog to the Linky tool
  • Please mention and link back to this post/blog to let people know about this fun challenge!
  • I'd appreciate cards made especially for this challenge, but I understand that we all love challenges and the additional traffic they bring, so please link a card that fits NO MORE THAN 8 CHALLENGES including this.
  • New Challenges will commence monthly on the first Tuesday of each new month
  • Please enter a max of 3 cards per challenge.
  • Preferably no back linking to older projects, please.

Let's Trim the Tree for Challenge #27

Hi there, welcome to the Tree Trimming Ceremony for Challenge #27 - Penguin Parade!

You guys really amazed with fabulous cards, heaps of enthusiasm and multiple entries - thank you, thank you, thank you!

This was always going to be a tricky one to 'judge' so thank goodness I had the wonderful Gail as elf for this challenge! Thanks hun, you're a star.

After much head scratching these are our Top Picks, but honestly you all did so brilliantly that this list could go on forever!

Top Picks are as follows:

Adorable in every way, and look at the mountain in the background.

A beautifully made card with the sweetest LOTV penguin.

Look at all that beautifully water-coloured fluffiness.

Who knew penguins were so talented!

Our Winner and Star on the Tree for this challenge is:

Both Gail and I fell head over heels for Cornelia's
beautifully coloured, but rather grumpy, penguin.

Congrats to you all, please grab your blog badges and wear them with pride!

Finally, here's Rudolph with his Random Raffle Winner:
Chris D, it's you! What a good day for Chris as she's a Top Pick AND our Random Raffle winner. Please could you contact me, Chris, so I can get these little guys penguin-shuffling across to you as soon as possible!

Thanks again to Gail for elfing with her usual panashe and to everyone who played along in our first challenge of 2020. If you want to play along in the February Challenge please head here and come join the fun!

Christmas Kickstart Challenge #28 - RED!

Hey there, welcome to Christmas Kickstart; it's time for a new challenge!

A big thank you to everyone who played along in the first challenge of 2020. Gail and I were blown-away by how many of you paraded your penguins! We'll be back in a few days to trim the tree.

This month I'm delighted to be joined by the wonderfully talented, and very witty, Samantha from CoyKoi Crafting

"A busy mother of three, (one human, two feline) Samantha enjoys hiding out in the bathroom eating her secret stashes of candy while watching Netflix on her phone. When she's not busy feeding her brood, breaking up squabbles, or actively avoiding housework you can find her making cards; her beloved label maker at her side."

Our theme for this month of love and romance is RED!

Yes, we'd love to see the colour of all things romantic featured on your
Christmas cards for the whole of February.

Here's Samantha's card - how gorgeous is this! Love all the gold against the red tones. You'll find all the details of how Samantha made her card on her blog.

Here's my very CAS take on the theme:

As always, Rudolph is on hand with a Random Raffle Prize and this month he is offering two gorgeous dies from Sue Wilson.

Hope you'll come and play!
