Let's Trim the Tree for Challenge #115

It's time to Trim the Tree for Challenge #115 - Gothic Christmas.

We were joined by the wonderful Carol from Just Me:c. Thanks so much for being my elf for this challenge, Carol, I'm not quite sure how we came up with this theme, but I'm glad we did!

This challenge really was, well, quite the challenge for everyone. We had 23 players who stepped up to join the fun. I loved Trina's comment on her post that this challenge was  "...completely outside of [her] wheel house". It was for most of us, Trina, but isn't that what challenges should be all about? Well done to all our participants!

Carol and I loved all the entries, but here are a few that really floated our gothic ghost ship!

Our Top Picks for this challenge are:

#1 - Brenda

Spooky and beautiful, and what a wonderful arched window backdrop.

#6 - Robyn

Robyn used the inspiration pic and look what she made!

#20 - Joanne

Just look at Joanne's card - a Victorian Gothic wonder.

Our Winner and Star on the Tree for this week is:

#21 - Trina

We both love Trina's creepy Christmas Scarecrow guy and his pet bat.

Congratulations to you all, I hope you'll enjoy flaunting your blog badges for all the world to see!

Here's Rudolph to announce the winner of his Random Raffle for October...

#7 - Helen... It's you!

Congratulations, Helen, please email me a dottypudding (at) aol.com with your snail mail address so I can connect you with your prize.

Once again, a huge thank you to Carol, and to everyone who played along with this challenge. We loved seeing your creations and appreciate your efforts in stepping outside your creative comfort zones.
