Let's Trim the Tree - Challenge #8

Welcome back, it's time to Trim the Tree for Challenge #8 - Frosty and Friends.

First of all, thanks to Gail for guest elfing on this fun challenge. She likes the hat so much, she's continuing to wear it for the current Christmas Kickstart Challenge which is Christmas Bunnies.

Rudolph is here to announce the winner of Rudolph's Random Raffle.

The winner of this lovely set is:

Congratulations, Jane. My contact details are on the side-bar.

There was lots of head scratching (nothing to do with woolen elf hats) for Gail and myself over this challenge as your entries were all adorable!

Our Top Picks are:

Love how this little guy 'pops' against that snowy background.

Everything is so perfectly positioned!

Such a clever interpretation of the theme.

Our WINNER for this challenge is:

Her subtle colouring and pretty colour combo really make this card extra special.

Please grab your blog badges, ladies.

Thanks to everyone who played along, it really was so tricky
to choose between your beautiful cards.

The Christmas Kickstart Challenge #9 - Christmas Bunnies.

Hi guys, welcome to Challenge #9. Once again, we have the lovely Gail with us performing her elfy duties.

Let's get down to our new challenge which is:
Christmas Bunnies

We're really hoping that you haven't put away your Easter bunny stamps, or that you may have some Christmas Bunny stamps, so that you can play along.

For this challenge the word 'bunny' is being used in it's broadest sense and we don't mind if a few Arctic Hares and other long-eared lovelies come to join the fun. And we're also celebrating Gail's birthday as my crazy blogging buddy (AKA Iona Bunny) turns 21 again.

Happy birthday, Gail, hope your day brings you fun, cake and bunnies!

If you head on over to Gail's blog you'll find a birthday giveaway plus all the details of her sweet bunny card.

Love that little fluffy tail and the shooting star!

My card was heaps of fun to make as I always love colouring and fussy cutting this little POD rabbit called Birch. I have other cards to see on my blog post here.

Rudolph is in da house once again, with another Random Raffle - he's such a dude!

This fortnight he's offering these two sweet sets from Clearly Besotted.

Let's trim the Tree - Challenge #7

Hi there, I'm sorry I'm a little late with the trimmings - it's been another crazy week.

First off, I'll say a big thank you to my adorable guest elf, Sally, for all her inspiration and help.

I'm going to announce the Rudolph's Random Raffle winner next:

Congratulations to Birgit!

Please contact me via the link in the side bar to claim your prize.

There was plenty of head scratching over the winners for this challenge as you guys all did an amazing job!

Our top picks are:

What a gorgeous little Winter scene.

A majestic stag and a beautiful background.

We loved this sweet scene and lovely colour palette.

Our winner this week is:

A marvelous mandala, a gorgeous colour palette and beautiful embossing.

Well done, ladies! Please grab your badges.

Our current challenge is Frosty and Friends and it would be great if you would join myself and Guest Elf Gail to play along!

The Christmas Kickstart Challenge #8 - Frosty and Friends!

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman is a fairytale they say
He was made of snow but the children
Know how he came to life one day...

It's time for Challenge #8 and (if you not already worked it out)
our theme is all about SNOWMEN!

For this challenge we're welcoming back Guest Elf Gail from Crafty Nomad!

Gail will be keeping me company during Challenge #8 and Challenge #9, although I have no idea how she'll find time as she is my partner in crime over at The Card Chain Challenge in addition to her duties at Blank Page Muse* Rubber Dance Blog *Lost Coasters ReviewColourCraft and Lost Coast Portal To Creativity - Events and Challenge Blog. She is one busy crafting lady!
Here's Gail's card - I love how surprised this snowman looks: perhaps he only just discovered he's a snowman!

My offering features my all-time favourite snowman stamp: Snowy from Penny Black.

Once again we have a prize on offer, which will be randomly drawn by the lovely Rudolph.

Can't wait to see what you create for this challenge!
