The Christmas Kickstart Challenge #9 - Christmas Bunnies.

Hi guys, welcome to Challenge #9. Once again, we have the lovely Gail with us performing her elfy duties.

Let's get down to our new challenge which is:
Christmas Bunnies

We're really hoping that you haven't put away your Easter bunny stamps, or that you may have some Christmas Bunny stamps, so that you can play along.

For this challenge the word 'bunny' is being used in it's broadest sense and we don't mind if a few Arctic Hares and other long-eared lovelies come to join the fun. And we're also celebrating Gail's birthday as my crazy blogging buddy (AKA Iona Bunny) turns 21 again.

Happy birthday, Gail, hope your day brings you fun, cake and bunnies!

If you head on over to Gail's blog you'll find a birthday giveaway plus all the details of her sweet bunny card.

Love that little fluffy tail and the shooting star!

My card was heaps of fun to make as I always love colouring and fussy cutting this little POD rabbit called Birch. I have other cards to see on my blog post here.

Rudolph is in da house once again, with another Random Raffle - he's such a dude!

This fortnight he's offering these two sweet sets from Clearly Besotted.

  2. 21....AGAIN?????!!!!! Hahahaha.... Happy Birthday to Gail!! I hope your day was super-fun and this challenge will add to your celebration. What are these delights that are with you in the photo on the table???? I can't tell if they are confections to eat? Or craft projects!!!! LOL! They look like something to eat...I see napkins and you might be holding a spoon...but I have never seen such an interesting configuration for a sundae. I must visit Norway!!! :)

QUESTION for Jo: I see the linky party ends in 6 days. Is this a short challenge this time....or is Inlinkz being weird? I know other challenges have been having a ton of trouble with this new InLinkz platform. Just wondering about the shorter time for entering.

Everyone must tire of my long drawn-out comments.....but I still want to talk about the adorable bunny cards!! I already visited both of your blogs, but I want to say here too that I love Gail's sweet image of the bunny pulling the little reindeer with the falling star. That pom tail is brilliant. Also, Jo, I love the way you colored your little guy pulling on his hat ties. That background is wonderful!!!

I don't really have any winter rabbit stamps, but I do have a fabulous hare stamp Gail sent me one time that I think I can adapt to a Christmas card. Give it a try, at least!! :) Thank you for this fun challenge!!

    1. Hi Janis, thanks for keeping a watchful eye on things - much appreciated. I've amended the linky, which I think was down to human error.... this human to be precise! Big hugs, can't wait to see what you create for this challenge. Jo x

    2. I love your long comments Janis. Yes, those are edible from a very special cafe in the UK. They taste as good as they look. I am sure Jo will beat the errant linky into shape soon. Looking forward to seeing your hare. Hugz

  3. Bunnies...yes!! I did rabbit rescue for years, back when my kids were still at home and I had boundless energy. Rabbits always hold a special place in my heart and I'm sure I must have some Christmas or winter rabbit stamps around here somewhere. Thanks for the fun inspiration, and happy 21st birthday to Gail (heh heh)

  4. What a cute idea of Christmas bunnies! I too have a stamp that Gail sent me from her last bunny hop that I might use for another card. I love this little bunny snowglobe too!

  5. I know why you chose bunnies, you wanted to see my bunny-in-earwarmers stamp again didn't you? It's possibly the weirdest looking bunny ever to have been immortalised in a stamp which is why I love it.

  7. Super cute cards and awesome theme! I love all animals, and bunnies are a favourite! I'm happy to join in this challenge! Sorry I missed the snowman theme - they are another favourite! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration here and for helping me keep on track with my goal of 2 holiday cards a month. If I can possibly squeeze in another one, I'll be back! I'm one short of my goal and the month is nearly over :-)

  8. We just love bunnies at our house and I actually managed to make a Christmas bunny card this time around. It looks like my promise to make Christmas cards early isn't getting very far, lol, but at least I made this one.
