Christmas Kickstart Challenge #60 - Reminder

It never fails to amaze me how quickly the 'Reminder' posts come around!

This month we're joined by the lovely Carol from Inkyfingers as our elfin muse and our theme is:

Snowflakes are Winter's Butterflies

Isn't Carol's card gorgeous? I love that minty green and the curved panel - just lovely! Please drop by at her blog to leave her some love and to read how she created her card.

I was so taken with Carol's card and after reading about how she made it I had so many different ideas for my 'Inspired by' make. I especially like how Carol has sanded back the cardstock to reveal the snowflakes, so used the same technique on my card.

My second card steals that lovely, sinuous curve that Carol used to such great effect. I've not used these pretty Simon Says Stamp sentiment dies for ages. The Rylynn Snowflake is also from Simon Says.

Rudolph has a lovely snowflakey prize on offer for this challenge. Remember, all you need to do is enter a card in the gallery to go into the hat for Rudolph's Random Raffle.

Carol and I very much hope you'll come and play along with this challenge as it's never too early to get started on your cards for Christmas 2022.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

  1. Wonderful DT cards by Carol and you Jo! And I got here with an entry - phew! Great theme as well, I almost gave the circular Merry Christmas die its first outing here but switched ideas when I got going - as one does.

  2. I'm loving the gorgeous embossing folder you used on these lovely cards, Jo! I really like how different the cards look with the blue and then green colours, even though some of the elements are similar. The sentiment font on the second card is just beautiful!
Thanks for having me as a guest elf this month - I've loved seeing all the fabulous entries.
